my dad has been making fun of me bcus i don’t want a huge car like his

and i started worrying bcus i kind of want to get like, a compact or midsized SUV (if i can find an affordable one), since joey and i go to otakon with friends and usually have a lot of luggage. i probably wont need a ton of trunk space most of the time, but for conventions i’ll definitely need a fair amount.

and i started thinking that SUVs were “big cars” and that if i told my dad i wanted one he’d get on my case about it

but no, having just looked up the dimensions of my dad’s Lincoln Town Car, it is a good 40 inches longer than any of the SUVs i’m looking into (which are around 180inches, compared to around 220)

so SUVs might not be “small” but they’re CERTAINLY not as big as THAT fuckin thing
