it really feels like they had SO MUCH planned for the cult ending, and then they just gave up on it

they say “for obvious reasons” but honestly, i dont know what those reasons are. fear of backlash? is that it? were they scared it’d be seen as “distasteful” or something?

bcus tbh ppl giving up on their art for fear of moral backlash is something i really really hate

ok so i found out what you need to do to get the cult ending, and i’m kinda…..disappointed?

i mean, i’m happy they put it in, but to kinda quarantine it off from the rest of the game, making it absolutely unobtainable unless you make your character look and be named a certain way (a way you probably can only do intentionally, when you KNOW you have to) and even then it REALLY hammers home the fact that you’re on the “cult route”, makes it feel….a little pointless, i guess

i mean obviously they’re trying to account for all the people that threw a fit when the ending was first discovered. the people who screamed and cried and said it was “too far” or w/e. and i get that. 

it just feels, idk, weird.
