Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson must save the world from a giant gorilla, a giant wolf, and a giant crocodile in the trailer for Rampage. It opens in theaters, RealD 3D, and IMAX on April 20, 2018 via New Line Cinema and Warner Bros.

Based on Midway Games’ classic arcade game of the same name, the action-adventure film is directed by Brad Peyton (San Andreas, Incarnate) and written by Ryan Engle (Non-Stop) and Adam Sztykiel (Due Date).

The Rock stars alongside Naomie Harris (28 Days Later), Malin Akerman (Watchmen), Jake Lacy (The Office), Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead), P.J. Byrne (Final Destination 5), Marley Shelton (Planet Terror), Breanne Hill (San Andreas), Jack Quaid (The Hunger Games), and Matt Gerald (Daredevil).

Primatologist Davis Okoye (Dwayne Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry transforms this gentle ape into a raging monster. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered alpha predators. As these newly created monsters tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.
