Due to her recent stay in hospital, Kohske confirms that GANGSTA. will be absent from the December 2017 issue of @Bunch (on sale 10/21) with plans to resume in November. Benriya offers their apologies for the short break.

unused Benriya sketch Kohske posted a tweet explaining that her long-standing troubles with insurance and medical expenses due to the complex nature of her condition have been alleviatedsomewhat
after receiving a second medical opinion confirming that her case is indeed incurable and deserving of coverage. Bittersweet news to start the day with, for sure, but leave it to Kohske to lighten the mood immediately after with a sketch she has no recollection of drawing. ❤

I’ve been re-reading Gangsta. and I forgot how much I really love the manga and the anime. So I had to draw some fanart of it. I also recorded me drawing this, you can watch the video here.

Bandits (2001) was an alright movie overall but after rereading Gangsta i REALLY wanted to draw the benriya with this scene.
