Not only did the trailer for The Cloverfield Paradox just air during the Super Bowl, but it was also announced that Netflix will release the film tonight immediately following the big game!
Produced by Paramount and Bad Robot, the third installment in the Cloverfield franchise was delayed numerous times before Netflix quietly acquired the rights. Regardless of if the massive gamble pays off, this is a refreshing and exciting move.
The Cloverfield Paradox is directed by Julius Onah (The Girl Is in Trouble) from a script by Oren Uziel (22 Jump Street). Gugu Mbatha Raw, David Oyelowo, Daniel Bruhl, John Ortiz, Chris O’Dowd, and Elizabeth Debicki star.
