Alright so no offense but I’m reading up on Warhammer right now (three guesses as to why) and it’s borderline offensive to me that these legions have such similar names

Imperial Fists & Iron Hands & Iron Warriors (hands and iron and shit ffs)

Dark Angels & Blood Angels (COME ON)

Death Guard & Raven Guard (COME ON x2)

Sons of Horus & Thousand Sons & (slightly different) Emperor’s Children

I mean, for god’s sake, you have an entire universe of made-up scifi shit, and you reuse angels, guard, sons and iron???

some of them started out with more unique names and then CHANGED THEM to be rehashes (except for the luna wolves -> sons of horus, cus space wolves are already a thing, so they went from being similar to something to being similar to something else, which, i mean, ok i guess)

there’s already so much other jargon in this universe i dont want to be even more confused bcus the jargon is too similar i’m going to cry
