Today I found out that my coworker (the groomer I actually like) is in an open marriage

When i said “my boyfriend”, he responded with something I said once about Joey (who i usually call “my fiance”) so I had to clarify

I said “okay, uh, yeah this is gonna sound weird but um, my boyfriend is different than my fiance”

and i was expecting some sort of reaction but he was so nonchalant about it, and just said “ohh, i get ya”

and i got flustered bcus i was worried he thought I was cheating, and started trying to explain, but he just said “no, i know what you’re saying. i’m in an open marriage, i get it. you don’t need to explain”

and i was just…so overwhelmingly relieved?

he and i ended up talking a lot about our relationships for like, HOURS today, and he said at one point “it’s nice to be able to talk to someone about this without worrying about judgement”

it was a really, really wonderful bonding experience

he makes me not want to quit this job lmao

LMFAO in one of these old Tsun & Dere episodes from like 2015 this fuckin conversation happened, probably recorded mere months before I told Nick I like him;

Me: What can I do here…
Nick: Me!
Me: Well…not on camera…
Nick: *flirtatious laughter*
Me: And we need Joey’s permission first
Joey: What?
Me: What?

i’m watching old episode of Tsun & Dere that Nick was in and even back then he still did that thing where I’d said “fuck” about something and he’d say “later”

but instead of joey being like “at least wait until i go to bed” like he is now, he’d say “i’m gonna KILL you, Nicholas”

my bfs are really wonderful and if it wasnt for them i would probably be a disaster

they’re so supportive and understanding even when i’m being dumb as hell

i’ve been so stressed out recently and they’ve helped so much just by being here

daily reminder that i love them with all of my heart and soul

so facebook has all of these options in drop-down menus for relationships (familial and otherwise), but they don’t allow you to apply “husband”, “wife” or “partner” to more than one person

they have three different listings of “cousin” for male, female and gender-neutral, despite the fact that cousin is already a gender neutral term

but i can’t call two people my “partners”

i mean, i cant anyway bcus only one of them has a facebook and that’s fine BUT THIS IS A MATTER OF PRINCIPLE! It’s bothered me for a while!

you can list someone as your pet, but not your spouse if you already have one listed
