It is supposedly a satire written/produced by an Iranian-American woman who is tired of the American generalization of the middle east. I haven’t heard about the snuff aspect but I’ve seen quite a bit about the stereotype of the protag.. And that’s been interesting

Yeah i read the description on the Kickstarter page but even THAT seemed super bizarre and i had a hard time wrapping my head around what exactly it was trying to say (i wasn’t a huge fan of how it was written as if dating sims from a female perspective don’t already exist but yknow)

but the kickstarter page didn’t dwell on the “straight up murder” part so that’s news to me. i love murder as much as the next girl but something about that just feels….off to me?

but whatever i guess, it’s their artistic vision 

i’m making an otome dating sim about murder too so its not like i can judge. mine just isnt racially charged lmfao

I havent seen either of them and they came out close to each other

They both had McDonalds toys and I got one for each; I got a rubber toy of the little red blob dude from Treasure Planet, and the necklace from Atlantis. Again, i’d never seen the movies so when I had those toys I kinda thought they were just from the same thing

Now, looking at the characters I can definitely identify who is from Treasure Planet and who is from Atlanis, but I never actually separated the two movies in my head. They were just one existence despite looking DRASTICALLY different stylistically

BUT AGAIN I NEVER SAW THEM SO I NEVER HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO THINK ABOUT IT

Well my mom always tells me to try and hold out for as long as you can. Sometimes you will start getting used to it and if it doesnt fit you then leave. She also says if you want to quiet a job start looking for another one before you quiet.

i’m going to try to hold out until otakon at least. if things dont start looking up by then, then…i dont know. it IS definitely getting in the way of me moving forward with my driving lessons.

(it doesnt help that im scared they’re not gonna give me otakon weekend off. i told them i’m not available but my boss is kinda forgetful so i have no idea if she’s going to remember)

an anime that just started a few weeks ago called “Happy Sugar Life”

very creepy, very unsettling, it seems like every notable character is a straight-up pedophile (granted two of them are high-school aged, but the child in question doesnt seem to be older than 10), there’s rape and what looks to be suicide in episode one

a summary:

Thank you!! Yeah they were all pretty minor mistakes for the most part, and everyone was supportive and understanding. Both the groomers said they have faith in me and said I’ll definitely get the hang of it. SO i’m still a little nervous, just bcus social anxiety, but i feel pretty comfortable with them!

Also one of them was watching dragonball z which made me feel pretty at ease lmao
