Regarding the Skeleton deer I think it was just cut out which pisses me off. Like the moment in evil dead they cut out and it pissed me off. But I can understand what you mean, I wish it would have gone into more detail of how they do these things. Also, I wish they would have gave a real reason for picking black people because now people only see it as a movie to say “Yea fuck white racist.” when I don’t think they were racist to begin with.

they could have easily just said “Oh, we want to be black people.”

yeah i mean, i wasn’t 100% following what the “message” was meant to be  by the end

idk they’ll probably release a directors cut that puts the deer back in and hopefully ties up some confusing details

the-furious-fudanshi replied to your post: “spoilers for Get Out okay so first of all i’m SO upset that…”:

Oh yea, me and azaria were really upset about the girlfriend. I’d like to point out I believe that she was just being hypnotized by her family to do all this and that even when her mother died she was still stuck under it. Just saying.

I was wondering that too, honestly.

Like i considered briefly that maybe she dates a guy, brings him home, and then her parents wipe her memories of everything that happened, but…that kinda went out the window pretty quick lmao

It’s definitely a headcanon that makes me happier than the actual ending did

(except that she still bleeds out in the middle of the street surrounded by a burning house and dead family members….)

kai-elise replied to your post: “and its entirely possible that the documentary is more biased than it…”:

I appreciated that movie. Especially since I’m an egalitarian and it’s good to see both sides of the story. If people actually stopped and looked at the issue from a logical standpoint (looking at both sides), the world may not be so chaotic. But alas, people are taught what to believe in but not to question it :/

Oh, totally! We have a huge problem right now (tho, probably always to be honest) about “you’re either with us or against us”, especially when it comes to feminism. The radical people are getting more and more prominent, so when anyone starts wondering “okay, but maybe the other side isn’t as evil as we thought?” they’re either berated into apologizing for ever questioning their beliefs, OR their osctracized from the group entirely.

It really doesn’t have to be a game of “Who’s More Oppressed?” because everyone has some shitty circumstances, and things would probably progress much faster if we weren’t all attacking each other instead of the actual problem, but for some reason people just don’t want to admit that, at least not recently.

Are you talking external or internal decorations? Because if we’re talking internal, just go full-on arboretum on in there

internal, yeah

like, i get the outside needing to be whatever material that can handle the planet’s environment, so nice decorations or w/e would probably not be practical

but inside where i assume pretty much anything would work, like damn why not put some nice van gogh’s around to make it seem more lived-in

Where else are you gonna find giraffe clothing

online in places that aren’t kids stores

joey got a shirt for me once from the Vlog Brothers store that has two cute giraffes on it in the shape of a heart; not obviously for children and not totally aimed at children either

and my point stands: if the only clothes you can find with giraffes on them are obviously for children, DON’T GET THEM, IT’S NOT NECESSARY
