MangaGamer and Sekai Project Announces Plans for Otakon 2017 (8/11/2017 – 8/13/2017)

MangaGamer and Sekai Project recently announced their schedules for Otakon 2017, which includes plans to make some exciting announcements there.

Otakon is an anime convention that takes place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC from August 11th to August 13th.

Note: 

All times listed below are in the Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) zone. This is not a complete list containing all booths and events at Otakon that are relevant to the visual novel industry.

Day 1: Friday (August 11th)

• Mangagamer: The Now and Future of Visual Novels (18+)
• Location:

  WEWCC 202 (Panel 1)

• Time: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Description: MangaGamer will be discussing Visual Novels, what they are, recent and upcoming titles, as well as new acquisitions and matters important to the visual novel industry in the West and Japan.
• Note: MangaGamer plans to announce five titles at Otakon this year. One of the titles they plan to announce will be from a new partner according to MangaGamer’s event page. (Source)

• Sekai Project Industry Panel
• Location: WEWCC 150 (Panel 4)
• Time: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• Description: Join Sekai Project as we take you through the amazing world of Visual Novels and Japanese Mixed Media! We’ll announce our newest titles, discuss the state of the industry and give away some fantastic prizes!
