Last week, it was revealed that Saw would be the latest horror property to join Dead by Daylight, following in the footsteps of A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. We now have the full details on the Saw DLC.

Dead by Daylight’s The Saw Chapter will be available tomorrow, January 23, on Steam, XBOX One, and PlayStation 4. It comes with a new killer, The Pig; a new survivor, David Tapple; and a new map, Gideon Meat Plant. Watch the trailer above.

The Pig is here to create a whole new version of hell for all Survivors. Mentored by Jigsaw she comes caring Reverse Bear Traps into the Realm of the Entity. So if you’re gonna play, you have to accept that the stakes are high.

so many things about this match are so hysterical to me

  • the david king looming over me while i fix the generator, presumably as some sort of meat shield
  • the wraith just showing up while literally the entire team is on one generator but staying invisible, probably bcus he was feeling nice and wanted to let us finish
  • the jake park SPRINTING right into the closet that’s two inches away from the wraith
  • me being legit stuck in a corner while the wraith just dances around us, ringing his bell and doing nothing, and david king pointing me in a direction i can’t go in
  • jake park coming back out of the closet and just hanging out with us and our incorporeal friend instead of running
  • the wraith still ringing his bell but not attacking me even though i’m alone and literally right in front of him
  • the wraith, i assume, getting tired of my shit and knocking me the fuck out while i’m just bouncing in front of him like “hello friend! good to see you again!”
  • the wraith beating the shit out of me while i’m on the hook as a final “fuck you” to my attempts at friendship
